Volume Denominations

In classic lashing we denote one extension to one natural lash as 1:1. In volume lashing, fan size is denoted by the number of extensions followed by the letter ‘D’ for Dimension. This results in the terms of 2d, 3d, 4d, etc.

2d-3d is considered lightweight volume with 4d being considered medium weight. 5d-6d fall within heavyweight volume, while denominations above 6D would be considered Mega Volume.
